Damon is passionate about creating healthy and engaging spaces for learners of all types. He has refined his human-centric design methodology over 23 years, having led award-winning projects in the education, community, cultural and commercial sectors in Australia and internationally. Working at the intersection of architecture, urban design and research, Damon is driven by his belief in the power of architecture to impact the quality of our lived experience. He designs thoughtful and inclusive spaces that aim to inspire the next generation of learners.
As a curriculum advisor to Swinburne University for the Architecture & Urban Design degree, and Architecture Studio Tutor at the University of Melbourne, Monash University and RMIT, Damon’s experience is recognised by leading design faculties.
With extensive knowledge of the entire project lifecycle, Damon is skilled at managing design quality, intricate project briefs and complex stakeholder engagement. As an urban designer, Damon has led complex multi-stage masterplans and frameworks for university and college campuses as well as key urban sites.
