The Royal Children’s Hospital has been announced as winner of the Public Design and Colour in Commercial Design categories in the 2012 Australian Interior Design Awards. The project was also recognised in the Best of State Commercial Design category and awarded the Premier Award For Interior Design Excellence and Innovation.
The interior design approach was born from the basic premise that nature can make kids better, quicker. The design story is derived from the forms, patination and colour mapped directly from the natural world to form an enriching and restorative environment for children, staff and the public.
