Wagga Wagga’s largest ever building project
The redevelopment of the Wagga Wagga Hospital has realigned the existing Hospital’s facilities and provided greater capacity to meet current and projected service needs. The redevelopment was guided by a design framework that considered the hospital’s connection and relationship to the Wagga Wagga community, whilst also providing a sustainable design that maximises the health and wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors to the Hospital. Key elements included a public forecourt, arcade, and significant entry-space were highly considered throughout the design process, and the local landscape, river and vegetation have been referenced within public spaces and the selection of building materials and finishes.
