The visual prominence of the site places it at the gateway to Collaroy Village. Along Pittwater Road significant houses of International Style modernism, including one adjacent the site, together with the Collaroy Cinema, establish a unique context of early modern architecture, which was sustained with a contemporary concept.
The L-shaped building maximises frontage to Pittwater Road and returns to virtually the full depth of the site. Containing a mix of residential apartments, office space and retail tenancies, the dominant perception of the façade is of a rendered form with timber and translucent glass privacy screens as elements of counterpoint.
