Austin Health, comprising three tertiary hospitals: Austin Hospital, the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (HRH) and the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre (RTRC), is one of Victoria’s leading health services. Following a partial redvelopment of the Austin Hospital and collocation of the Mercy Hospital for women in mid-2005, Austin Health faced rapidly increasing demand for its services.
