Designed to support the Northern Illawarra community by providing superior aged care services across the whole district.
The Bulli Hospital and Aged Care Centre comprises IRT Group’s 60 bed private residential aged care facility to be co-located with Bulli Hospital, providing opportunities for integration and sharing of services between the public and private providers. This will enable residents to move seamlessly between different areas of the centre as their needs change.
The project was driven by best practice dementia design principles with a vision to provide a built environment that supports a new model of wellness, to create communities where seniors achieve their optimum quality of life, delivered in harmony with the hospital and the Northern Illawarra community.
It’s wonderful to see our elderly patients move into a facility that’s purpose built to meet their needs, They’re enjoying the bright and open common areas which feature plenty of seating, and settling into their spacious new rooms which boast lovely views.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District’s Health Care Services Plan aims to increase capacity for managing the aged care needs of the Northern Illawarra community, as well as providing a critical mass of clinical expertise to support the delivery of excellence in aged care services across the whole District.
