The Royal Children’s Hospital was the Overall Winner in the 2012 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) as well as receiving the Public Space award.
The judges noted of the interior design:
An outstanding exercise in cohesion, engagement and vibrancy. This project is not only a benchmark for its typology, it is contemporary interior design at its very best. The level of detail directed at children is amazingly engaging for them, and the furniture is magical.
