An expansive, highly flexible response to foyer design at 100 Arthur Street, North Sydney.
Engaged by CLA Real Estate and Knight Frank, the team reimagined the stylish refurbishment of the entry lobby across both upper and lower ground levels, maintaining easy access between Arthur and Little Walker streets.
The design opportunity involved a significant upgrade and expanded floor area. Previously a high-use thoroughfare, the foyer space has transformed into a vibrant, curated environment utilised as a centrepiece for collaboration, networking, and rejuvenation.
Embodying principles of activity based working and individual preference, the foyer converts into a series of new spaces for meetings, cross collaboration, high end boardroom meetings, training areas, solo work areas and after hours events. Ensuring high flexibility within the lobby, the furniture layout is easily moved with only one fixed central table and enhanced by sliding curtain screens. The rich sophisticated palette ensures tenants and guests feel embraced and welcome.
Inspired by the upscale hotel lobby “living room” concept offering energy and high interaction, BLP’s design solution is tailored to user needs in the building, ultimately increasing the footprint for tenants of 100 Arthur Street.
The expanded foyer spaces have been activated and busy since opening.
