The school upgrade provides flexibility for staff to educate and for students to learn in a positive, bright and motivated environment, and is a vast improvement to the existing buildings.
BLP has recently completed the Speers Point Public School upgrade to accommodate the growing City of Lake Macquarie community. The upgrade includes the refurbishment of the existing library and classrooms into special education classrooms and amenities, and the levelling of areas around these buildings for ease of access.
The upgrade provides new permanent innovative learning spaces for five classes, a new hall, administration building and library.
A 2019 refurbishment of the existing library and classrooms provided special education classrooms and easily accessible amenities.

Both staff & students moved into the updated learning spaces during the last phase of construction without any disruption to scheduled classes.
In the recently completed final stage, the refurbishment, of existing classrooms into two modern and functional learning space created a positive impact for the school’s community.
